This Privacy Policy explains how Dumb Brain Sports ("Dumb Brain Sports," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Dumb Brain Sports mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information — such as your email address, username, and password (passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Profile and group activity — the groups you join or create, your sports picks, group chat messages, and other content you submit.
• Support communications — information you share when you contact us.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — features used, picks made, and in-app activity, used to operate gameplay, leaderboards, and scoring.
• Device and technical data — device type, operating system version, app version, and diagnostic or crash information.

Wallet information

• The app offers an optional embedded Solana wallet to hold the in-app $DUMBBRAIN token. We store your public wallet address. We never have access to your private keys, which are managed by our embedded wallet provider in a secure environment.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including picks, scoring, leaderboards, and group chat.
• Create and secure your account and authenticate you.
• Calculate and distribute the in-app $DUMBBRAIN token and feature unlocks.
• Communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
• Monitor, debug, and improve the Service.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers — vendors that help us run the Service, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, and hosting), our embedded wallet provider (Privy), and sports odds data providers.
• Other users — your username, picks, leaderboard standing, and group chat messages are visible to members of groups you participate in.
• Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Dumb Brain Sports, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

The app may link out to third-party platforms (for example, Kalshi). Those platforms are operated by independent companies with their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 7).

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Choices and Rights

• Access and update — you can review and update your account information in the app.
• Account deletion — you may delete your account and associated personal data from within the app, or by emailing us at support@dumbbrainsports.io. See our account deletion instructions.
• Push notifications — you can disable notifications in your device settings.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

8. International Users

We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated in the app.
